Vinyl record player
A vinyl record player is a primitive playback device whose sound is stored in arc-shaped grooves carved on the vinyl plane of the turntable using acoustic methods. The record is placed on the turntable and rotates under the stylus. The vinyl record can be easily replicated in large quantities and has a longer playback time than most cylindrical recording media. Therefore, the vinyl turntable is also known as one of Edison's greatest inventions.
